    The Brian Farrell Papers is a collection that relates primarily to the visit of President John F. Kennedy to Ireland in June 1963 and consists of original documentation relating to the visit, including event schedules, press releases and information bulletins issued to staff at RTÉ and others. It also includes some commemorative printings published in the period immediately after the visit. In addition, there is published material relating to the 1960 US Presidential campaign and the death of President Kennedy in November 1963, alongside some typescript drafts of articles and radio scripts written by Farrell on American politics in the 1960s and Irish politics in the 1970s. The collection also includes printed items published in the 1960s, relating to Irish tourism and economic conditions.
